While Meta struggles to keep its users from fleeing, and TikTok faces unhappy content creators who see the platform raking in billions off of their work while seeing none of it returned to them as payment, the Duel team is making steady progress towards achieving our funding goals and launching the world’s first challenge-only social video platform with the capability of converting to a Web3 DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization).
We’ve enlisted Kerry Gordy who is in talks with a major investor on our behalf. We’re partnering with a white label video streaming service to make all of our duels live streams to ensure a level playing field and eliminate the possibility of challengers using filters or editing tricks when hosting a challenge or responding to one. And we’re writing a tokenomics white paper that will bring new incentives and payments to all Duel participants through the use of our on-platform token called $VICTORY.
In addition, on the cryptocurrency front, as an e-resident of Estonia I can apply for a cryptocurrency exchange license; something that we’ll eventually need for the Duel DEX.
More news to come, and thank you for your support!
